I just received an e-mail below and promptly called Rep. John Conyers' office to request that he begin impeachment hearings on Rep.Dennis Kucinich's House Resolution 799 to impeach Vice President Cheney.

The woman who answered the phone was very helpful and advised me to stay tuned for further news.

So, please place calls to Rep Conyers' office and tell him that you support the impeachment of Vice President Cheney. Ask him to hold hearings on Dennis Kucinich's House Resolution 799 to impeach the Vice President. Be sure to tell them what state you are from.

I received some very helpful feedback from an attorney who called Rep. Conyers' office. Here is what he told me:

"It seems Conyers is polling the nation as to where and from whom impeachment support exists. Please call his office ASAP."

Based on this feedback, it is very important that Rep. Conyers' receive calls supporting impeachment from every state in the Union.

Therefore, please forward this message to others and ask them to do the same. People need to ask their friends and relatives from all over the nation to participate.

I just got off the phone with Joel Siegel at Conyers office using the 800.828.0498 # and asking for his office.

His direct office number is 202.225.5126 .

HR 799, has bi-partisan support and a real possibility Conyers is taking his own impeachment poll.

Be sure to give your name, phone # and location.

Joel had several suggestions one of which is to start using the language of
'calling for investigations of criminality and demanding committee hearings and investigations".

The FISA bill vote tomorrow is very important, because if they don't give
them retroactive immunity and the case goes forward, it will expose how many average Americans have been under illegal surveillance and for how long which will certainly be shocking.

He also suggested another march on DC, demanding Bush/Cheney resign because of 'no confidence'.

Really, everyone, keep calling and have your friends around the country
call too. > It took less than 5 minutes.

Apparently lots of radio stations across the country are talking about it.
Maybe Alan Chartok would consider airing this.

I hope I am not fooling myself, but it does feel a bit like the tide may be
turning.

Your phone call will help speed that process and help to avert WW3.
