Momentum for the September 15 Mass March is growing. People are contacting us by phone, email and mail, and they are coming into the A.N.S.W.E.R. office to find out how to get involved and help build the protest.

There are a number of ways people in the DC metro area can get involved - by attending Wednesday activist meetings (beginning August 15), joining leafleting and postering teams that go out daily, or by picking up materials to spread the word on your own. Dedicate some of your time this summer to keep the anti-war movement going strong!

Weekend Postering and Leafleting

On Saturday and Sunday volunteers meet at the A.N.S.W.E.R. office and go out in teams across the DC metro area to put up posters and hand out leaflets.

Volunteers will meet at A.N.S.W.E.R. office at 1247 E St. SE on these (and other) upcoming days/times:

Sunday, August 12 at 4:00 pm... and continuing every weekend until Sept. 15!

Weekly Activist Meetings every Wednesday

Join us Wednesday, August 15 at 7:00 pm at the A.N.S.W.E.R. office to learn how you can become an organizer in DC for the September 15 Mass March. The meeting will take place at the ANSWER Office: 1247 E St. SE. This is on the corner of 13th and E Sts. in Southeast just a few blocks from the Potomac Ave. stop on the blue/orange line; the entrance is on 13th St. Meetings will continue weekly in August and September.

Weekday morning and evening leafleting

Meet other volunteers in the morning (approximately 7:30-9:30 am) or evening (approximately 4:30-6:30 am) at a metro stop or other busy area to help hand out flyers.

You can also pick up outreach materials (flyers, posters, stickers) at the office on any day.

We have tens of thousands of beautiful, two-color flyers, posters and stickers for people to use in your neighborhoods, workplaces, places of worship, local restaurants and businesses, and wherever you can.

You can also print and copy them yourself.
